We take stock of what has been completed, identify what remains to be done, and make adjustments where possible.

Settling the final balance at the end of a janitorial contract is simpler than one might think, for one fundamental reason: there are no termination fees, on either side. Therefore, the only items remaining are the services that were actually performed.

The real issue with the end of a contract isn't financial. It has to do with reservations made after the contract ends, which become your responsibility again.

• Fees for stays that end before the contract expires.
• Flat rates for cleaning and laundry services provided.
• Approved and scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Any remaining balance on the onboarding package, if it has not been paid in full.

• Fees for stays occurring after the contract term has ended. These fees are not due, even if the reservation was made during the term of the contract.
• Termination fees: There are none—neither for you nor for us.

Offsetting of certain, liquid, and due claims occurs automatically. In practice, this means that the balance is settled in a single transaction rather than through multiple offsetting entries.

They remain your responsibility. The listings and rental agreements are yours, as explained on page 8.3: you are the one bound by the agreement with the traveler, not us. It is therefore up to you to ensure these stays are fulfilled or to contact another service provider before the end of the term.

• Plan ahead for the resumption of confirmed stays. That’s the real issue when a contract ends—more so than the balance itself.
• Interest at the statutory rate accrues on any amount due and unpaid after a formal notice has remained unanswered for fifteen days, and this applies to both parties.
• No discount is offered for early payment.
• Reconcile the balance on your monthly statements before paying them. Page 1.5 explains the billing process.

Do I have to pay fees for stays beyond the term?

No. Fees are charged only for stays that are completed before the end of the reservation period, regardless of when the reservation was made.

Are there any early termination fees?

None. The contract does not provide for any termination compensation, in either direction.

Who handles passengers who have already booked trips for after the deadline?

You, or the service provider you designate. The rental agreement binds you to the traveler: these stays must be honored.

Is the balance paid in a single lump sum?

Yes, in principle. Offset of mutual claims takes effect automatically, which reduces the settlement to a single transaction.
