Reserve your property for your personal use

Your property remains yours: you can live there rent-free, with no time limit, paying only the cleaning fee if we provide service.

Entrusting your property to a concierge service doesn’t mean giving it up. Your summer weeks, a last-minute weekend getaway, or even a whole month if you wish: personal use is a right, not a favor, and it doesn’t cost you anything. This page describes the procedure, the division of roles, and the only two limitations of the program.

The concept can be summed up in one sentence: you request it, we reserve it, and the accommodation is ready and waiting for you, just as it would be for a traveler.

The Procedure

Please provide us with your dates in writing, giving us reasonable notice.
We're checking the schedule. The block is automatically applied as long as no passenger reservations have been confirmed for that period.
We'll block it within 48 hours across all platforms.
The accommodation is prepared as if for a guest: cleaning, linens, and supplies.

The cost

No proportional fee is due for personal use. The cleaning and laundry fee remains due if we clean the property at the end of your stay. If you prefer to clean the property yourself, you may do so at no charge; however, you are then responsible for ensuring the property is in good condition for the next guest, and for any resulting reviews.

Good to Know

If you occupy the property every summer during the same dates, please register it once: we will automatically renew the reservation until further notice, so you won't have to reapply every year.

The Mistake to Avoid

Lending out a residence in exchange for a share of the costs. “Free” means free: any financial compensation, however modest, goes beyond personal use and constitutes commercial activity, and thus falls under the exclusivity described on page 1.7.

Points to Watch For

Booking during peak season comes with an opportunity cost. We can provide you with a cost estimate before you make your decision, if you'd like.
The longer the notice period, the easier it is. The schedule fills up months in advance: dates you book early are guaranteed.
Lending to family members is still permitted, as long as no money changes hands: in that case, the property remains for personal use.

Warning

For dates that have already been booked, this is not possible: we do not cancel a traveler’s reservation on our own initiative. If you decide to do so anyway, you will be responsible for the platform fees and the rating penalty.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to live in my own home?

Nothing: No pro-rata fee is due, with no time limit. Only the flat-rate cleaning and laundry fee remains due if we have to clean up after your stay.

Can I clean the place myself?

Yes, and you won't be charged anything. However, the quality of the accommodation for the next guest—and the resulting review—are your responsibility.

Can I have friends or family stay with me?

Yes, without any financial compensation. Even a modest contribution toward expenses crosses the line into commercialization, which is reserved for exclusive arrangements.

How long can I stay?

As long as you like: personal use is not limited in duration. The only thing worth considering is the opportunity cost of blocking it during peak season, and we can quantify that.
