A confirmed reservation is never affected by a subsequent price adjustment. The price charged is the one in effect at the time of the reservation, even if you raise your minimum rate the next day.
That is why fare adjustments must take place before the start of a season, not during it.
- Before high-season reservations open—that is, several months in advance
- Following a series of excellent reviews, which has made a repositioning possible
- Following restoration work
- When occupancy consistently reaches capacity: that's a sign that the capacity is too low
- Raising the price limit in June won't change anything this summer. Reservations have already been made.
- Consistently operating at full capacity is a loss, not a success. It means you’re leaving value on the table for the traveler.
- Any adjustment to the cleaning fee must be based on an assessment by our teams and documented in writing. We never make such adjustments unilaterally.
